Idakazoo is where imagination gets to wander.
It began with painted clothes and a simple urge to make ordinary things a little more colorful, a way to wear my joy and to encourage others to do the same.
Then an owl with a lantern showed up 🦉🏮. And a frog 🐸. An octopus 🐙. An otter 🦦. Songs were written 🎶. Stories started taking shape 📚. A rattlesnake opened a honky-tonk 🐍🪇🪩🤠. Because apparently that’s what happens when you follow curiosity and wonder instead of asking where it’s going.
What began as one creative idea has grown into a world of characters, music 🎵, stories, art 🎨, wonder spotting 🔎✨💖, and things I never planned to make until suddenly I was making them.
Some of it is thoughtful.
Some of it is ridiculous.
Much of it is both.
Idakazoo is still becoming.
So am I.
That’s part of the fun.
Welcome to Idakazoo.
🌻 Wonder Spotting
Look closer.
I’ve been noticing the little things for a very long time — the beautiful, ridiculous, unexpected and easily missed. Wonder Spotting is where I gather some of those moments and remember to keep looking closer.
🎶 Music Maven
Songs that start as words, memories, characters and occasionally complete nonsense.
📚 Stories & Books
Characters, adventures, and ideas that are still taking shape. From picture books to deeper dives, this is a growing collection of stories from the Idakazoo world.
More stories are taking shape…
