Welcome to We Are All Meant to Shine!
Let me introduce myself—I’m Michelle.
I’ve spent much of my life working in spaces centered around growth, connection, and possibility—from higher education to the foster and adoption community. At the heart of it all has been a desire to support others in finding their path and stepping into who they are meant to be.
I’m also a writer and artist—someone who has always been drawn to reflection, creativity, and the quiet moments where meaning begins to take shape.
Years ago, I wrote a column called We Are All Meant to Shine, a message that has stayed with me and continues to guide the way I see the world. After stepping away from blogging for a time, I’ve returned to this space with a renewed sense of clarity and intention.
This site is a place for reflection, creativity, and becoming—
a place to explore ideas, share inspiration, and create connections.
It is also the home of Idakazoo, a creative extension of this work—where art, color, and imagination take form in more tangible ways.
Beyond this space, I share life with my spouse of over 20 years, an educator and lifelong learner, and our twin daughters, who continue to inspire me as they step into their own paths.
At the core of everything I create and share is a simple belief:
We are all meant to shine.
